Texas is divided into 38 areas called districts, each with about 800,000 people. Every two years your district elects one U.S. Representative — one of 435 in Washington, and the only one who answers to you. They vote on laws that touch your health care, your taxes and your rights.

About Kevin
Burge grew up in a working-class family near Los Alamos, New Mexico, later became a defense intelligence officer, and served as a technical advisor in the White House Situation Room during the Biden administration. He's running in TX-24 on a platform of lowering housing and healthcare costs for working families, and often notes that his wife immigrated to the U.S. from Honduras as a child.

About Beth
Van Duyne grew up in Irving after moving there from New York as a child, graduated from Cornell University, and spent six years as Irving's mayor before President Trump appointed her HUD regional administrator for the Southwest. She's now seeking reelection to a fourth term representing Texas's 24th District, which covers parts of Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, and Collin counties.
