About Tyler
Smith grew up in Houston, graduated from Texas Southern University, was a Presidential Fellow under Joe Biden, and worked in Washington as an aide to U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff. He now works for Everytown for Gun Safety, building coalitions of shooting survivors and lawmakers, work shaped by losing loved ones to gun violence himself, and is running to unseat incumbent Lacey Hull in House District 138.
