About Tom
Tom Oliverson is a Cypress physician who has represented House District 130 (Tomball, Cypress, Waller, Hockley) since 2017. He chairs the House Insurance Committee and formerly chaired the House Republican Caucus, and he's running for reelection after co-authoring some of the strictest abortion laws in the country.

He ran against Tom Oliverson in 2024 and lost, and is running again in 2026 with reproductive rights as his top issue, saying his opponent helped pass Texas's abortion ban with no exception for rape or incest.
