Steve Toth spent years as a pastor at a Woodlands megachurch before going into politics and running a swimming pool company.

About Steve

Toth, a former pastor and owner of a pool-supply business in The Woodlands, has served in the Texas House since 2013 representing the area north of Houston. In March 2026 he beat sitting U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw in the Republican primary by campaigning further to the right on border security and conservative social issues, and has said he plans to join the House Freedom Caucus if elected.
