Who Scott is

Before he ever put on a robe, Scott Golemon worked his way through college doing farming, ranching, and construction, then spent 33 years trying civil jury cases across Texas.

About Scott

Golemon grew up partly in Beaumont, worked his way through Tarleton State University, and earned his law degree from the University of Houston in 1987. He spent decades representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury, medical malpractice, construction, and business disputes before becoming Chief Justice of the 9th Court of Appeals in Beaumont in January 2021, and he's now running for re-election to keep that seat.
