Before he ran for Congress, Randy Weber spent decades running his own air-conditioning repair company in Pearland, Texas.
Weber grew up in the Houston area, earned a business degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and built Weber's Air & Heat from the ground up, running it from 1981 to 2016. He served on the Pearland City Council and in the Texas House before winning the U.S. House seat for Texas's 14th District in 2012, and he's held it ever since. In 2024, GovTrack ranked him the most conservative member of the entire U.S. House.
Weber’s take on Texas values
Weber backs school choice and voted to let states redirect federal education money toward private-school options, aligning with the same push that put $1 billion toward Texas private school tuition. [OnTheIssues; Texas Tribune]
