Paul Dyson is a Bryan attorney who also serves as general counsel for his family's oil and gas exploration company, Dyson Energy Group.
Dyson is the incumbent state representative for House District 14, first elected in 2024 to succeed longtime Rep. John Raney. He's a Texas A&M graduate and lawyer who also works in the title insurance business, and in his first term he voted for Texas's new private-school voucher program and the state budget that funded it. He describes his priorities as border security, cutting property taxes, and defending gun rights and what he calls the sanctity of life.
