He ran a small media company, directed communications at a church in Victoria, and won a special election to Congress in 2018. He's been in Washington ever since.
Cloud graduated from Oral Roberts University, where he ran cross country and track, before building a media business in South Texas. A member of the House Freedom Caucus board of directors, he sits on the Appropriations Committee and the House DOGE Committee.
