He's an eighth-grade history teacher, a Hays CISD school board vice president, and the grandson of an immigrant woman who came to this country with a dream. Now he wants to run the county.
About Johnny
Flores holds a bachelor's and master's degree in political science from Texas State and has spent years advocating for equity in Hays County schools. He volunteers with the Central Texas Food Bank, the Hays County Historical Commission, and local PTAs. He won the Democratic primary with 72% of the vote.
