Dudding is a career governmental accountant, investigator, and finance officer who is challenging Republican incumbent Paul Dyson for the Texas House District 14 seat covering Bryan and College Station. She's campaigning on fully funding public schools instead of private-school vouchers, expanding Medicaid, and easing rising property taxes. She's run for this office before and frames herself as a fiscal watchdog who wants to bring the same scrutiny she used as an auditor to state government.

Miller is a lifelong Bryan/College Station resident, a graduate of A&M Consolidated High School who attended Blinn College, with a work background in office management and food service. He's run for Texas House District 14 multiple times, including a 2024 bid that ended when he was disqualified from the general-election ballot. His platform centers on shrinking government by cutting laws, regulations, and taxes he sees as unnecessary.
Paul DysonPaul Dyson is a Bryan attorney who also serves as general counsel for his family's oil and gas exploration company, Dyson Energy Group.
About Paul
Dyson is the incumbent state representative for House District 14, first elected in 2024 to succeed longtime Rep. John Raney. He's a Texas A&M graduate and lawyer who also works in the title insurance business, and in his first term he voted for Texas's new private-school voucher program and the state budget that funded it. He describes his priorities as border security, cutting property taxes, and defending gun rights and what he calls the sanctity of life.
