Dan Barrios was a first responder on the ground helping people after the deadly 2015 Garland/Rowlett tornado, working with the American Red Cross.
Barrios grew up in a working-class family in Brownsville and now serves on the Richardson City Council. He spent years as a business instructor and executive in sales before running for Congress, and he also mentors people in state jails through his church and community work.
