Family judges handle divorces, child custody and child support, and they also decide requests for protective orders after family or dating violence. Cynthia Terry, a Republican from Mansfield, was elected to the 325th in 2022 and is asking voters for a second term.
Before becoming a judge, Terry ran her own law practice handling family and business cases. She has a psychology degree from the University of Michigan and a law degree from Cooley Law School in Michigan. We could not find news coverage of her rulings or a campaign website.
