Angie Carraway has spent 14 years teaching middle school social studies and history in Collin County classrooms, in the Lovejoy and Princeton school districts.
Carraway grew up in a military family and earned her degree from the University of North Texas before becoming a public-school teacher. She's now running for Texas House District 89 on a platform of protecting public schools from voucher money, raising teacher pay, and helping working families keep up with rising costs.
