If you ever go through a divorce or a fight over custody or child support, a family court judge makes the final call. Andy Griffin, a Democrat, grew up in Everman and has worked almost entirely as a family lawyer for more than 15 years. He is running for the 325th.
Griffin says he has handled thousands of family cases and won appeals before Texas appeals courts. He has a law degree from Texas Tech (2007) and has coached school sports in the Houston area and East Texas, including two stints as head coach at White Oak. This is his first run for office.
