Gibson is a Christian Conservative who works in sales and operations for a veterinary-health company. She also leads the Hays County Republican Women.
She moved to Texas from North Dakota in 2008 and lives in eastern Hays County. Her party bio calls her a grassroots organizer whose advocacy "supported legislation" in the last session — no bill is named. She's running on public safety and fiscal restraint.
